We Value Our Children:
Children are a blessing from the Lord and should be received with thanksgiving as gifts from His hand. As parents and as a church, we must recognize the reality of our responsibility to serve as godly examples to our precious little ones, knowing that to whom much is given, much is required. As parents raise their children in Christ, the Turnpike body will serve as a powerful influence in their lives as well as they encourage parents to become enthralled with the glory of God, to have God’s truth in their hearts and on their lips, and to understand that they must pass these life-changing truths on to their children.
Our hope is that the body of the Turnpike Road Church of Christ will come together with a singular passion to tell the next generation the glories of the Lord and that our children will learn to put their trust in Him and be wonderfully blessed.
Children's Worship:
Beginning July 19, children from age 2.5 to the second grade are invited to participate in a worship time designed especially for them during the sermon.
Our desire is that our older children worship together with their parents. There is much for children to absorb as their parents model a reverence for God, a hunger for his word, and a delight in His presence. It is our hope that they will develop a sense for the importance of worship as they observe Mom and Dad engage in the worship and praise of God each week.
